My Story
I am a composer, arranger, producer, and vocalist from Cincinnati, OH. Now living in Boston, MA, I am a recent graduate from Berklee College of Music with a dual degree in Film and Media Scoring and Contemporary Writing and Production with a minor in Musical Theater Writing. At the age of 12, I started voice lessons at the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music in classical and musical theater styles and soon after, I picked up guitar and piano. A couple years later, I began piano lessons at the same institution, in addition to music theory classes. During these years I developed an interest in soundtracks and other instrumental music. I’d be listening whenever I could as it was a great comfort during hard times, and I want to write so others can have the same outlet. When I found out that I could major in writing music for films and media, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I started Berklee College of Music in 2019 fully knowing I would study film scoring. In my third semester, I added on Contemporary Writing and Production to learn more about arranging and producing music of other genres. My goals of composing are a combination of my skills and passions. I am a vocalist, and a fan of musicals, so I would love to write film musicals. I want to contribute to the fight against climate change and compose for documentaries that bring awareness to current issues.
